Indian weddings are a beautiful, soulful affair, filled with ancient traditions and rituals which claim to bond the husband and wife. But then, while some of these traditions are beautiful and meaningful, some of the others are dated. Keeping up with the times, some wedding traditions and cultures should be done away with as some of these sexist traditions may scar a girl’s mind for life.

Set in a village in remote India, Sandhya - An Awakening focuses the status of women in a patriarchal village society. The film examines the impact of gender balance and consequently the stability and attitudes of society. Its storyline bears some resemblance to real-life instances of gender imbalance and economics, fraternal polyandry, bride buying and rape in some remote parts of India.

The Emoji Song
United States, 2018

Director:   Adam Volerich

Producer: Greg Starr & Ben Rauch

Is the modern man overdoing it with the emojis? Actor/singer/songwriter Ben Rauch would argue a definitive YES! “THE EMOJI SONG," is a cautionary, comedic music video exploring the dangers of today's relationships that can be both created and destroyed over the phone. Rauch reminds us that emojis have their place in a budding romance - but when they take over the entire relationship - you're bound to end up, as he did - stuck single with nothing to show for it but a sad face (not unlike the tearful emoji that ubiquitously signals our pain over text.) Whether the audience is a woman who's previously cut a relationship short over emoji overdose, or a man who recognizes his over-reliance on the expressive creatures that live in his phone -- "The Emoji Song" is truly a music video that anyone who has a smartphone can relate to!

India, 2018

Director:   DR.RASHMI JETA

A young spoil brat who believes in defying his father indulges in overdrinking and hits an old man by his car on the road and later manages to escape by bribing the cop. A few minutes later he rushes to the hospital after receiving an emergency call from his mother only to discover that the old man he hit was none other than his father who died in the hospital.
It is an emotional satire on the modern mindset of the young generation who sometimes resorts to the wrong practice in the name of new vision and modern modus vivendi of life. The film basically has a social awareness message---a global problem of drunk driving and hit and run fashion.
